Hi! I must say - I'm excited. I've been hosting webinars and classes through The Story Farm, as well as the ISA, for years now. It even dates back to 2006 when I started developing writers through Writers Boot Camp in Santa Monica.
I haven't, until now, hosted specific live workshops that dedicated time on more than just the craft of screenwriting. What I've learned through the years is that writers need more than just a general education on structure, beats, formatting, and even topics like "how do I get an agent?" We writers need a lot more help than that! (I'm giggling as I write that.)
What we need is a strong balance of craft development, as well as the development of our own minds and personal intentions. I know that sounds like spiritual guru mumbo jumbo, but it really is true. So I'm excited because, yes, today I will be hosting the first Story Farm workshop that focuses on a much deeper level of character development (the Character Flaw), but I'm also hosting on July 21, a Writer's Mind workshop about decision making.
If you haven't signed up today's Character Flaw workshop, you can do so by clicking the designated button below. But if you're interested in the Decision Making/Writer's Mind workshop I'm hosting on July 21, you can click that Workshop 02 designated button.
Let's all develop the very best of us. We have so much potential as storytellers, and I'm making it my responsibility to help you untap that potential.
So, the July 7 Workshop on Character Flaw - $39 Click the big button directly below to sign up, and we will see you on Zoom at 11:00am CDT today.
Workshop 02, How to Use Decision-Making as a Creative Development Tool, can be accessed by clicking the Workshop 02 button below. You can email me if you have any questions, of course, by simply replying to this email.
I'm always available at max@thestoryfarm.org if you would like support beyond the workshops, and would prefer to work 1-on-1 for the long term instead of in a group. I also have spots available in my upcoming September Writing Retreat in Wisconsin, Sept 30 - Oct 4.
Let's work together!
